Airline News
All Airlines - Effective November 1, 2017 we can expect to see airfares increase between 1-8% on all schedules through the end of 2017, due to economic downfalls.

Southwest Airlines - Reminder schedules for Southwest are now open through June 2, 2017.

Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport - If you have flown Southwest Airlines, chances are you have been through Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.  Last week airport executives announced it will be undergoing a $950 million expansion project.  This is expected to take 5 years to complete.  Eight new gates will be added to Terminal 4 and expand the Sky Train to include stops at each terminal and to a new transportation center. The car rental facility at Sky Harbor Airport will also be part of the improvement project.

Cruise News
Disney Cruise Line - Marvel Comics have grown in popularity over the past few years and Disney is listening.  Disney Cruise Line has announced it will celebrate the superheroes and super villains of the Marvel Universe during celebrations in fall 2017 dubbed “Marvel Day at Sea.”

Rail News
Amtrak - Historically, Thanksgiving is the busiest travel time of the year.  To help with some of the travel congestion Amtrak has announced in addition to operating every available passenger railcar in its fleet, Amtrak will operate extra trains to and from downstate Illinois and Michigan during the week of Thanksgiving. With a surge of travelers, customers are encouraged to book tickets early for best availability and pricing.
